Dr. Treacy is on the Specialist Register in Ireland and holds a H.Dip in Dermatology and a BTEC in Laser technology and skin resurfacing. He is Irish Regional Representative of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors and practices cosmetic medicine in his clinics in Dublin, Cork, London and the Middle East. He was amongst the first doctors worldwide to use the permanent facial endoprosthesis BioAlcamid for HIV Lipodystrophy patients. He was also the first person to introduce many techniques such as Radiofrequency assisted lasers, Fibroblast transplant and Contour Threads to Irish patients.
Dr. Treacy is an advanced Botox, Dysport and Dermal filler trainer and regularly holds courses for doctors and nurses from around the world. He is also a renowned international guest speaker and features regularly on national television and radio programmes. Despite his busy global commitment (See his lecture schedule on the home page) he finds time to personally see patients at his Dublin clinic. He was invited to speak at this years World Aesthetic Conference in Moscow and was the only Irish doctor invited to speak at the 2005 International Dermatological Society meeting when it was held in Ireland.
Dr Laura Durkin qualified in medicine at UCD and continued her post-graduate career at St. Vincent's University Hospital and the Mater Hospital Dublin. She later gained further qualifications in General Practice in Edinburgh and is now a Member of the Royal College of General Practice. She has worked in the areas of Cardiology, Respiratory Medicine and Gynaecology and it was her interest in women's health in particular that her to the area of cosmetic medicine.
Laura has passion for all aspects of
Cosmetic Medicine and her clinical skills and approachability
has ensured her position as one of most sought after
doctors in the clinic. She has a particular interest
and skill in the areas of anti-aging treatments, particularly
Botulinum and Dermal Fillers.
Ms Anne Cox ITEC CIBTEC
Ms Anne Cox qualified in Beauty Therapy
in 1987 with Bronwyn Conway in Grafton St. and continued
her studies in Skin Care and Body Therapy in Dublin.
She later gained further experience and qualifications
while working for Clarins at Selfridges in Oxford Street
in London. She later returned to Ireland n to work with
Sisley at Brown Thomas in Dublin.
In later years she
was a trainer with Dr. Hauschka and she developed her
own clinic, specialising in men's skin care in Temple Bar. She is a favourite with the media, having appeared on RTE's 'Head to Toe' on a few occasions. Anne is enthusiastic about her work and in helping people achieve optimum skin health.
More recently Ann has received training certificates with Cosmedex and Nimue products. She also has certificates from Lumenis and Syneron in skin photorejuvenation
Ms Julie Cahill
Ms Julie Cahill is the Receptionist
at the Ailesbury Clinic, Dublin. Julie has been involved
in the beauty industry for a considerable period having
worked for over six years in Therapie Spa Molesworth
Street and Advanced Cosmetic Surgery, Dublin prior to
joining our staff. She has extensive knowledge of all
our procedures and is a good point of contact for any
of our new clients.
Like many people in the cosmetics
industry, Julie originally started her career as an
airline steward working with Emirates Airlines in Dubai and the
Middle East. This worldwide experience has led her to
maintain an intimate understanding with our client's needs and wishes. With that insight, she combines her own thoughtful support and has the ability to find a slot for some patients even if we are booked months ahead.
Dr Clare Cushen
Dr. Clare Cushen has a Masters Degree in Dermatology. She graduated in medicine from Trinity College, Dublin in 2004. Having gained invaluable post-graduate experience in AMNCH and St Vincent's University Hospital Dublin, numerous peripheral Irish hospitals and the Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital, Australia, she then completed a Masters in Clinical Dermatology at the prestigious St John's Institute in London. She has a particular interest in minor surgical procedures, skin resurfacing and anti-aging treatments such as Botox and Dermal fillers.
